Distilling Essential Oils is a passion for many. Distillers use a wide variety of equipment. Some distillers use traditional Alembic distillers for making Hydrosols and Essential Oils. Some use homemade equipment. Designs and sizes vary but in the end, the results are similar. This space is for sharing your experiences, innovations and photos of your equipment. I'm a graduate of The New York State Ranger School at Wanakena, Paul Smiths College, SUNY at Syracuse College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Syracuse University. I have degrees in Forestry and Resources Management. I've been playing with distillation since the mid 1970s. I'm the President of The Essential Oil Company, established in 1977.
